Recreational, Competitive & Elite, and Student-Assistant programmes.

Our programmes have been specifically designed to drive personal development for all students within all avenues of our school, thus creating a sense of self-worth, as well as health and well-being including mental health, whilst also incorporating and applying industry standard dance practices, to ensure our students are best prepared for a career within the Performing Arts.

Recreational Programmes

From Bunnies to Seniors, students are given age-appropriate goals in accordance with ability whilst instilling a high standard of practice in training, and development in co-ordination, musicality, discipline, and dedication. Classes have been carefully curated to be taken one-after-the-other as a rolling system which ensures efficient time-management avoiding multiple days and evenings at the studio. Students work toward an annual Dance Concert and Examinations which is highly recommended however, not compulsory.

Competitive and Elite Programme

The Competition and Performance Team is based upon an invite only basis or an audition process, this avenue is afforded to students who showcase exceptional talent, dedication, and potential. This class is aimed to harness highly developed artistry, choreography, and performance work with an understanding of stage craft and an accelerated development in improved physical training. Students are carefully guided as they progress in age and level, with continuous assistance through industry processes should dance be their chosen career path.

Student-Assistant Programme

The HotStepper™ programme has been specifically implemented for students that are ready to advance their skill sets within the teaching realm of dance. As such, each candidate is allocated a class in either the Bunny and/or Junior department as a student-assistant. All HotSteppers are required to undertake annual examinations in either the ISTD or RAD syllabi, as well as form part of the C&P Team and are marked and guided in accordance with the DFU standards of practice.
